The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was great, but it got really loud at night and the building is super drafty.

Everything was spotless and tidy, and there were no complaints at all.

“We Booked a room for 2 nights. When we got there the room was nothing like the photos. There was tin foil then curtains”

We booked a two‑night stay, yet the room we arrived to looked nothing like the photos—there were tin foil and curtains over the skylights. We asked for a change, but the new room had huge drafts from the door and massive gaps, plus black mould in both rooms. We were really unhappy, ended up getting a refund, and left for somewhere else.

“A good location to stay.”

The price was reasonable for Christchurch, and the motel sits right next to a main shopping mall, but you should bring earplugs because the traffic noise is noticeable on the busy road.
