The hostel is old but very clean, the beds are super comfortable, and the location is great; the reception desk is tidy. The price‑to‑quality ratio is excellent. The receptionist, a blonde girl, is the most professional and attentive. The hostel feels a bit dated, but a few small fixes would suffice.

The location is super central, I was received quite late at night, and they always answered my questions. The room and the rest of the hotel smelled like storage; the wall above the door had a hole, so they covered it with a plastic curtain. At 6 am they started shouting and slamming doors. There is no elevator, which is understandable given the building’s age, but the front‑desk manager does not help you get up the stairs, even if you’re an elderly person.

Unfortunately the reception service was terrible; I notified them that I would arrive after midnight, and when I got there nobody opened the door, so I had to find another hotel at that hour.

The location was excellent, the hostel was super clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All good, very good.

The location was really good. in the middle of the center. I am not the kind of person who likes to have shared bathrooms, but I had no choice re to availability in Madrid at that moment
