Everything you need is in one location, and the staff were helpful and acted promptly when we approached them about the state of the room that we checked into. The room we checked into was dirty, with spit and marks all over the walls and what looked like vomit on the curtain and a DND tag; the shower had mould and was constantly dripping, so it needed a deep clean.

I really liked the semi‑private outdoor space that opened onto a garden with simple tables and chairs—a great spot to sit in the mornings and evenings. The bed was comfortable and the air‑conditioning worked well. The storm hit, and the Wi‑Fi was a bit spotty, but it was free.

The hotel was just okay; some staff were really friendly while others were less welcoming. Breakfast was poor, costing 52 AUD per person, which felt far too expensive. The morning meal also left a lot of tree litter on the paths, making it hard to roll luggage.

Reception staff were friendly and fast, breakfast was okay but expensive at 35 dollars, and the air‑con in the room was great. The property feels a bit tired overall, there’s a bad smell coming from the shower drain, and the pool needs daily cleaning because of lots of leaves and insects.

The hotel is within walking distance of the town centre. However, the food at the restaurant was very average compared to the prices charged.
