Good location on the beach front and plenty of street parking; the shopping centre is only a 15‑minute walk and nearby attractions include the National Aquarium of NZ. Our room was at the main entrance and we kept hearing people coming and going with loud talking at night; the kitchen area floor was very dirty so we needed footwear.

I loved the small private room I was given, especially since I booked last minute – thanks for accommodating me. The bathroom fan rattles, but the room was great for the price.
