I booked a single room at short notice. The booking text said the room had no view, which was fine for me. I could already drop my luggage off before check‑in. The request I made when booking was answered immediately. Apparently my room wasn’t the newest in the building, but it was still coherent, bright, cozy, extremely clean, all items intact or even new, no worn cushions, plenty of storage, sockets, shelves, hangers, a like‑new rug, a fairly large bathroom, a quiet room, a firm mattress that seemed new – and the view I didn’t even expect was spectacular: a view of the Rhine. Staff were consistently very helpful and friendly, breakfast was excellent and left no desire unfulfilled, also in terms of the premises and atmosphere. There is an elevator and a private parking lot; I didn’t use Wi‑Fi or the pool. I also didn’t use the pillow service – you can swap the standard pillow for another if you wish. The location is of course great: between the Kurpark and the Rhine riverbank, so between calm nature and bustling restaurants. Bottom line: I’ll definitely come back.
