The location was actually convenient and the owner started off friendly, helping us with a few things. Sadly, the house was nothing like the photos – it felt abandoned, dirty and poorly maintained, and the space was too small for my family, forcing us to book an extra room for an additional R$300. It fell far short of the description and was a big let‑down.

We really appreciated the calm, safe atmosphere and the fact that a beach trail was just around the corner. The terrace let us enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the mountain view and the surrounding tropical forest, which added a nice touch to the stay. All in all, a pleasant, nature‑filled spot.

The house is nicely equipped and sits in a great spot between Lagoa da Conceição and Barra da Lagoa beach. During our three‑night stay we got virtually no support – the owner only replied on WhatsApp, and the TV was broken when we needed it for our 3‑year‑old, so we ended up watching movies on our phone. We also found cockroaches near the kitchen sink, in the living area and even two in the pool, so a proper pest control treatment is definitely needed.

The unit was clean and had air‑conditioning, and the host was attentive and quick to handle any request. The only drawback was the lack of a full kitchen as shown in the photos – we were given just an electric hot plate to cook with. Overall, a tidy stay with a helpful owner, but the kitchen was misleading.
