“Really bad.”

I paid almost 100 euros a night and expected a tidy room, but it was a nightmare: insects swarmed the room, the window was ancient and tangled in cobwebs, and overall the place was filthy. The only redeeming factor was its proximity to downtown, but honestly I’d cut the price in half for what they’re offering and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is gorgeous right at the foot of Ponte Vecchio, perfect for exploring the city’s main sights. However, the kitchen equipment was broken—microwave and other appliances were out of order.

The staff were awful. They claimed to respond via WhatsApp but never did; we waited almost an hour outside the building because they were unhelpful. After thirty minutes, the WhatsApp contact started insulting us and was extremely rude, offering no assistance. Finally, other residents let us in, while the staff called us lazy for not finding the instructions hidden in their endless, useless emails about Florence restaurants. They could have sent a simple 10‑line guide. The property itself was dirty; the shower cabin had long‑standing germs, and the room was filthy—I've attached two photos to illustrate. Mobile internet is non‑existent in the area, so WhatsApp and Wi‑Fi are useless, making it nearly impossible to text the receptionist for help. I’ve stayed in hundreds of places, but never encountered such a horrible accommodation before.
