The location was good. Everything else was dirty, old, and shabby—nothing worked.

I had no positives; everything was awful. I regret not reading reviews before booking. The photos online looked great, but reality was the opposite. When I arrived, they couldn't locate my reservation. After a long back‑and‑forth at reception, I was told I had to pay cash for two nights just to stay. While sorting that out, other guests mentioned they didn't even have water in their rooms, which was already alarming. When I finally entered mine, the room was unbearably hot, even though the weather outside was already hot. There was no proper cooling, only cold water in the shower, the safe didn't work, and the TV was broken. On top of that, a strong damp smell filled the hotel, likely from leaking ceilings. I told reception I have asthma and breathing problems, but they responded dismissively, saying “everyone has health issues” and it was not a big deal, which was shocking. I asked to cancel the next night and move to another hotel, but they insisted I stay just one night. The staff member kept coming in and out of my room trying to fix the TV, giving me no chance to rest. With the heat and poor air quality, I struggled to breathe, and it felt like hot air was hitting the back of my throat. Opening the window didn't help because it was extremely noisy outside. When I insisted I wanted to leave, the staff member became rude and dismissive, telling me to “just sleep one night.” When I asked if he could guarantee my health, he avoided the question and remained unhelpful. He also told me all rooms shared the same systems (water, heating, TV), and after showing me three other rooms, it was clear they all had the same issues. To make matters worse, the bedding and towels had not been properly washed.

The staff were really friendly, which is great, but it's not enough to make up for everything else that went wrong. The bed was comfy, I'll give them that. But the room was dirty, towels were MIA, and the housekeeping was pretty lazy. The elevator was broken, the alarm didn't go off, and the water was shut off at night. And don't even get me started on the disastrous breakfast.

Honestly, I didn't love it or hate it - it was just meh. Nothing really impressed me, but I didn't have any major complaints either. The hotel was fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it. It was just.there.
