I stayed in the middle of town and the place was clean. When I got back to my room around midnight, the keypad lock on the door wouldn’t work. I sent a message and called the number the front desk had given me, but I never heard back. Luckily I found a box with keys in a closet at the entrance, and one of those keys opened the room.

The only good thing was that it was right in the city centre. Everywhere was dusty, and two of the pillows were almost non‑existent and too thin. The ground‑floor room was noisy all day and at night; I tried to nap in the afternoon but the cleaning staff made a lot of noise, and I couldn’t get a word in with them because they didn’t understand Italian or English. The owner was nowhere to be found.

The building is in the city centre and is convenient for getting to the arena and other sights. The room and bathroom are spacious and tidy. The keyless entry system is handy because you don’t need a card or key, but the sound it makes when you open the door is loud, especially at night.
