The price is quite high, the hot‑spring area isn’t as good as imagined but it’s clean, and the food is great. Because Shizunai itself doesn’t offer many sights, it’s not essential to come just for the onsen; Otaru, Noboribetsu, and Lake Toya onsen are also good. The region has abundant natural hot‑spring resources, each family having its own.

My husband loves this hotel; he thinks the hot‑spring temperature is perfect and the outdoor bath feels wonderfully natural. If we go to Akan Lake next time, we’ll consider staying with your group again. He also really enjoys the smoking lounge, which feels like a cigar room with an old‑money vibe, unlike the smoking rooms in other hotels he’s been to, and he finds it extremely comfortable. Do the yukatas come in separate men’s and women’s sizes? All the yukatas provided are one‑size‑fits‑all, but the fit varies a lot for different body types. My husband is 178 cm tall and it fits him well, but I’m 155 cm tall and the same one‑size yukata is too big for me. Could you consider offering separate men’s and women’s one‑size yukatas in the future? They would fit guests better. Thank you for your consideration.
