“I would never recommend any of my family or friends stay there and pay top dollar like I did”
The location was fine, but the room was lousy and not very clean; the tables were dusty and there were two cockroaches that died, and this was after I was assigned to another room. The rooms had a couple of roaches crawling around in the room since I had changed rooms once because the other room’s carpet was stained and so was the chair. I was first assigned to room 3340 because I wanted a room with a view of the street; it did have the view I asked for but the room itself was aesthetically unappealing. I went down the stairs and requested a cleaner, larger room. I was assigned to Room 1401 only to discover it was a handicap accommodation room. I am not handicapped, so everything was short of handicap accessible. I am a nurse so I just adjusted. I was tired and did not feel like changing aging rooms again. I had to kill two cockroaches and did not feel safe unpacking my clothes, so I lived out of my suitcase the entire three‑night stay. I paid a total of S1454 for these lousy room accommodations. It was substandard compared to other properties I have stayed in. The location was great but the room itself was totally not to my standards, especially to pay almost $500 per night.
