They arranged a high‑floor room with a good view exactly as I wanted. I borrowed a bicycle from the hotel and enjoyed touring Morioka. No complaints.

I was happy to find the bustling streets nearby, making night outings convenient, but I wished I’d known earlier that the hotel’s parking wasn’t available and that we’d have to share a nearby facility’s lot.

The hotel, a remnant from the Showa/Heian era, still carries that vintage vibe after its renovation, which is interesting; the rooms are spacious, staff are very friendly, and the place is clean, though the furnishings feel a bit old‑fashioned. The price‑to‑quality ratio is truly good, but a closer look reveals that older equipment is hard to clean thoroughly.
