Hotel Bologna Airport

The elevator that served my room looked more like a service elevator…for a four‑star hotel! When I booked the garage parking, I wasn’t told I’d have to hand over my car keys, and even though I kept them on time, the front desk kept reminding me that I wouldn’t be allowed to keep them next time.

Close to the airport, welcoming and clean, but a bit dated, the spa wasn’t working, and at night I could hear cars passing on the nearby street.

“Staff was excellent, very courteous and professional”

We didn’t get a free shuttle from the airport, so we had to pay to go from the airport to the hotel, then pay again to return to the airport to retrieve our luggage, and then pay once more to go back to the hotel—felt a bit excessive, though the restaurant was great.

“Good stay close to airport, shuttle easy to find and clean”

The shuttle to the airport cost $13E, cheaper than a taxi, and the staff were very accommodating. They kept my luggage safe until check‑in at 2 pm, giving me a day to explore the town, and they were knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms, however, let in a lot of noise; a baby in the next room cried for hours, so I had to wear ear plugs.
