Whaka Lodge Luxury Camp

We really enjoyed the place and the variety of options (pool, lake, sunbeds, sports equipment.), the care taken with the appearance of the reception and accommodation areas, the friendliness and availability of the staff… in short, we were absolutely delighted with our stay!

The setting felt like a little haven of peace, the complex and its decor were calm, the team was attentive and listening, the bubble room transported us into a zen attitude when we closed the door, and the homemade food was comforting! However, the bubble room was too minimalistic and lacked small furniture; in the shared bathroom you could put a bag next to the shower to store items, and in the room you could place a suitcase beside the sofa. The price of the room is indeed a luxury to enjoy this type of unusual accommodation with a bubble bathtub, but 300€ for a slot from 17h to 11h is too steep. You can of course buy a day pass (30€/person) and join the accommodation at 14h, but that turns it into a night stay at 360€. It’s a privilege not everyone can afford.

“Prachtig plekje met goede verzorging en fijn verblijf”

The location is beautiful, the stay pleasant and the staff good. The bedroom window had no latch, so it couldn’t open and the room couldn’t ventilate (heat stayed inside). The shower head had no hook to hang it on. The space behind the sofas was not cleaned.

The setting is magnificent. The adorable welcome we received for our honeymoon night, and the staff left a note, flowers, and champagne upon our arrival.
