The entrance feels old, but the rooms were renovated, clean, and a calm space. The amenities were solid, and the owner was friendly and pleasant. I could walk up to the hallway even if I wasn’t a guest, which made me a little uneasy.

“部屋は良かったので、もう少し外見を綺麗に…。分かりやすくホテルをアピールすれば若い子にも目に止まるかもしれません。”

The futon was comfortable: the mattress was soft enough not to strain my back, and the pillows had just the right firmness to avoid shoulder or neck strain. The room was spacious, the washbasin was large, and everything felt clean. After leaving the front desk, I felt safer knowing there was a key on the door after the stairs. It’s scary that anyone can enter. I wanted hangers and a TV. The renovation looked good, but some areas felt half‑finished, which was disappointing.

The front desk staff were polite. The room had no television.

The staff were friendly! Unfortunately I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but they showed me photos taken on their own phones, which was warm. The amenities were also well stocked. Be careful if you have mobility issues because of the stairs.

“Carino”

The location is convenient, close to the station and with a view of Fuji. The building feels dated and needs a refresh. There were stains on the floors and a lot of dust in some parts of the room.
