The staff welcomed us warmly and were very attentive. The room was well equipped. The private onsen was a dream!

The renovated room was clean and stylish, and the onsen was enjoyable, yet the faucet at the washbasin sprayed water onto the bowl’s edge, making hand‑washing a mess; outside the room the paint was peeling and dust had built up. The “Ryukyu‑tatami” style Japanese room was really just a plank floor with a straw mat, which hurt my back, and I would have preferred a proper floor cushion instead of the tiny seat. A large black oil stain on the futon cover was replaced without any apology from the staff who came in.
