“Würden wir nicht nochmal buchen”

The villa was a beautiful old Madeira house, especially the garden and the plants around the house were lovely and well‑kept; inside there was a kind of conservatory overlooking the sea and a nice terrace with sea view, where we spent most of our time. Unfortunately, after a short while we all got many bites on our feet and legs that weren’t from mosquitoes, suggesting a possible flea infestation; the living‑room carpet seemed to harbor some biting creatures. Apart from that, the bathroom and kitchen were in need of renovation—everything appeared clean but was quite old. The house also had a strange musty smell that didn’t lift even with vigorous ventilation. The area, terrace, and garden were beautiful, yet we felt uneasy and unable to fully relax inside.

“Overall was fine. Wouldn’t stay there again”

There wasn’t much that stood out, but the patio was a nice place to be. Inside the property was dirty, with a wall stain that looked like blood and a very dirty carpet, and there were dead cockroaches in the house.

“Divnooo!!”

The house is truly beautiful, located in a lovely spot and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It has its own parking spot, a lovely terrace overlooking the ocean, and plenty of greenery. The only issue was that the directions to the house’s front door were a bit imprecise, as it isn’t on the street but requires walking through a narrow path beside a stone wall.

“Wir haben es in dem Ferienhaus trotz allem sehr genossen.”

The location is fantastic, the garden is great, and it’s very quiet with a sea view. Overall, the house is wonderful, but a bit more attention to detail (some minor repairs) would have been appreciated. The address didn’t match what Google Maps showed, making it a major challenge to find the holiday home around midnight. No one was reachable by phone, even when we had a power outage. It was very difficult to get in touch with the landlords, a company with annoying automated messages. During Easter, it was quite cold in the evenings and nights, and heating the place (an electric heater) wasn’t very efficient or easy.
