We had a bit of a rocky start with the front desk staff, who initially claimed they didn't have our reservation. Luckily, we had a printed copy, which showed we'd booked a spacious room with a double bed and two singles. They eventually offered us two smaller rooms with two singles each, which was a bit of a compromise. The room itself had a strong smell of tobacco and the beds were a bit too close together.

The owner and his family were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference in my stay. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from all the main attractions in Cappadocia. It was also great to experience life in a small Turkish town that's not overrun with tourists. However, the room's equipment could be better, but considering the price, it wasn't bad.

The owner was incredibly welcoming, which made a huge difference in my stay. The room was small but spotless, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. However, the noise from the street was a real issue, especially at night when the bars nearby started to get lively. Still, the owner's warmth and the decent value for the price made up for it.
