Cortijo El Ancla

First off, thanks to Saskia and John for their warm welcome at their modest home! The room we got was clean, roomy, with its own bathroom and outdoor space. It was situated at the back of the house, separated from the main house by a door. The hosts were polite and friendly, offering fresh soup and fruit during our stay. They even put together a small care package for our drive back to the airport. The house is tucked away, but Saskia met us at a local bar and guided us to the house upon arrival. A shout‑out to the two adorable dogs, Lexi and Lizzy, who were so cute and friendly 😍 If you want a quiet, secluded spot with nearby attractions within driving distance, this is the place. A beautiful Spanish experience that truly shows rural life. Saskia and John are generous hosts and pay great attention to detail. They went above and beyond, making us feel at home. Dear friends: This is the first time we’ve visited a rural cortijo in this area. We want to thank the two of you because from the very first moment we felt like we were in “our home”. The hospitality is very polite and pleasant, nothing is missing during the stay and everything is very clean. We also liked the décor, which is very much in line with the surroundings and tasteful. “Amazing hosts clean and well maintained”

The hosts were incredibly helpful and did everything possible for us. We loved the rural setting but it’s only a short distance from a busy town. Everything is very clean and you have everything you need. The pool is clean and well maintained.
