The service standard is very high throughout the stay. The animation program is interesting. The hotel uses its full potential. Representatives of a multi‑generational family actively create a welcoming atmosphere from check‑in to check‑out.

The historic hotel in Sils, up the road toward Val Fex, is simply captivating. The welcome was outstanding, with efficient, always friendly, and incredibly helpful staff, and the owners’ family members personally greeting each guest. The rooms are beautiful, featuring terraces and stunning views. Breakfast is superb in terms of quality, variety, and service. The on‑site bar and restaurant are housed in spacious, well‑maintained salons that preserve many 20th‑century details, and there’s also a great contemporary restaurant—Giger's—right across the entrance, surrounded by greenery. The spa, which we didn’t use but saw many guests enjoying, is a plus. Parking is available both covered and outdoor, with very courteous and friendly valet service. There are various entertainment options and always helpful tourist information. A few minor points could be improved: some guests might appreciate different mattress and pillow types (we had twin‑size mattresses that were very soft and very thin pillows), and daily replacement of the fresh fruit left in the room (especially the more perishable fruit on hot days) and the already opened water bottles would be appreciated. Having a kettle for coffee and tea in the room would also be a welcome addition.
