I liked having my own little space here, especially the quiet mornings when the chickens and ducks were already up and about. The host was super friendly and made sure everything was spotless. All in all, a solid stay that I’d happily recommend.

“We did enjoy a relaxing stay at the homestead”

The place feels like a hidden oasis – lots of shade, native plants, and a menagerie of hens, goats and even wallabies that keep things interesting. It’s clean, private and the air is fresh, but the garden gets pretty dark after sunset and there’s no dryer or proper hanging area, so rain‑soaked clothes are a hassle. The kitchen could use some bigger bowls and chopsticks for Asian dishes, and a little welcome gift would be a nice touch.

This place is a real gem: the decor has been refreshed, the bed is super comfy, and the kitchen has everything you need, plus a brand‑new deck overlooking the pool and yards. You get the full NT vibe with frogs and wildlife, and it’s close to all the main attractions, so I’ll definitely book again. The only nuisance was the mosquitoes, but the supplied spray and coils kept them in check, even if I didn’t enjoy having to leave the room.
