“Spacious well equipped room and nice pool area in a private house with an eerie atmosphere”

The pool area was lovely, offering a great view of the rocky mountains. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the small kitchen was handy. We liked having a coffee machine; otherwise we’d have had to drive to a café. The décor felt a bit kitschy for our taste. The room was in someone’s house, so it felt odd being surrounded by personal family photos and a cupboard full of personal items. On arrival we were given so many instructions and warnings about not breaking anything, which made us uncomfortable. We also didn’t appreciate being charged for a basic baby cot, a charge we’ve never encountered on our many travels with a baby.

“Un alojamiento muy bonito y amplio.”

Everything was great—brand new, tastefully decorated, with plenty of space in both the bedroom and bathroom, a terrace, and a fantastic, chill pool area. The location is good, just a ten‑minute drive to the beach and the harbor, and also ten minutes from Denia. The hosts were very friendly. The only downside was staying inside the owners’ house; even though they’re discreet, it felt a bit uncomfortable to me.
