“Peaceful, cosy stay”
Peaceful location. Shepherds hut had everything you needed plus some thoughtful touches like milk, butter and home made jam. Really well thought out layout whilst also homely plus very clean and tidy. Enjoyed our stay. Nothing, all great.Thanks for a lovely stay

'Shepherd's Hut' seems to be brand new and was very clean and cosy inside, with all the facilities you could want in a compact space. The location is very peaceful in farmland up a track off the road connecting the A701 to Ae village. We appreciated the chocolates and tea, coffee etc. that the owners left for us, and their quick responses to our queries. Perhaps a few more instructions would be useful, on how to turn on the induction hob and the location of the light switch (hidden behind a curtain). Dog pooh on the gravel parking area!
The quirky vibe and lovely decor made for a great stay, and there was nothing else to note.

We loved our stay at the Shepherds Hut, it was perfectly equiped for a quiet get away. Its location is great close to Ae Forest and easy to get to with parking out front. If you want a space to get awat from it all for a night or 2 this is a fantastic option!. everything was spot on
I liked how cozy and self‑contained the place was, perfect for a break from crowds, but it felt a bit too isolated and I never spotted any staff, so I had to Google everything for sights and meals.
