The stay in Ubud was unforgettable, thanks to the super comfortable beds at Chandra House. The bed was incredibly cozy, the room spacious and bright, overlooking the green courtyard where a fountain added to the pleasant vibe. The staff were kind, available, and the rooms were clean, well‑furnished, and roomy. Wi‑Fi worked flawlessly. We’ll definitely return and recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubud. An unbeatable stay at Chandra House, one of the best places I’ve stayed during my many trips. From day one, the family welcomed you as if you were part of it, making you feel at home. The place is ideal because it’s a traditional Balinese house where you can experience the culture firsthand, yet the guest rooms are styled in a Western manner. They’re very friendly, helpful, and eager to teach you about their customs. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, modern, clean (they do daily housekeeping), and offer plenty of privacy. They also provide tours; I took the ATV tour at a better price than most places. Don’t hesitate to stay here—it’s worth it in every way: close to the center but quieter, comfortable, cultural, traditional, good breakfast, etc. The internet works but is sometimes a bit spotty. Breakfast is very good but a bit repetitive for long stays (only two options), which is normal for this type of place.

I loved everything. The location is stunning, the room is spacious and very clean, the host is kind, helpful, and very professional. A small breakfast prepared by a lovely lady. What’s also great is that with the host you can arrange all excursions as well as airport and port transfers. Highly recommend.

The place is clean and charming, with a well‑kept common garden. The staff are friendly and available. The breakfast is very good. Outside the city’s chaos, the fact that it’s a bit far from the center can initially make it hard to find.
