It was a beautiful property, clean, and had all the basic needs for a stay; communication was very easy and they even sent us some recommendations for eating and hiking.

The location was ideal for hiking and visiting the PA Grand Canyon, though we had to travel 28 miles back and forth for our reunion on Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday night, and Sunday morning. It was the only motel available, as every other hotel was booked. We loved the king bed, the room was nicely decorated with lights and very clean. The grounds were well maintained, featuring picnic tables, grills, a firepit, and a pond. The pedal boats were filled with green stagnant water, so we didn’t use them. A light was on outside our room, and motion‑detector lights helped us walk from the parking lot to the room. I waited too long to book, but the motel’s location wasn’t convenient for where we spent most of our time. No one was at the hotel when we arrived; a note on the office door gave phone numbers to call, but the first number went to voicemail. We waited for a return call that never came, then another couple arrived and we all tried the second number. A person finally answered and told us how to get our key and which room we were in. The office opened on Sunday morning when we checked out, and that was the only time we saw a hotel staff member. The staff member was unfamiliar with the TV, and it took a long time to find a “normal” channel, which we thought was expensive.

The room was good, with comfy beds and ceiling fans that circulated the air nicely. The scenery was beautiful, making it a great place to stay.
