The location and image on the page are fine, but it’s marketed as a hotel while it actually feels like an Airbnb, even though breakfast is excellent; on the first night I saw no staff or guests and the common areas were dark; in the following days the owners appeared thanks to my husband's comments, even though he didn’t stay with me.

This artist‑run house is meticulously curated with beautiful details everywhere, and it’s within walking distance of the Frida Kahlo museum in San Angel, Bazar Sábado, and one of Mexico City’s most lovely neighborhoods, so it’s definitely worth your time. The only drawback is that the entire lovely home could use brighter lighting, especially for older guests with poor vision.
