The outdoor hot‑spring area is near a major traffic artery, and the hotel sits right on the riverbank with a walking trail; the scenery isn’t as beautiful in the dry season, but autumn temperatures are very pleasant. 2. The semi‑outdoor spa is open until 23:00, and on weekdays after 20:00 it’s less crowded, which feels comfortable, though some spa facilities are broken (or perhaps fewer are open on weekdays? I didn’t ask the hotel). 3. The hotel offers bicycle rentals, but only during the day. 4. Afternoon tea service is a nice touch when you’re just checking in and hungry. 1. The hotel’s internet is less reliable than newer ones. 2. If you want to bike, consider the slope; the hill’s gradient changes a lot. 3. Prices are high, even on weekdays outside of holidays, it’s still steep.
