“Fantastic apartments in a fantastic location”

The location in Lourdas was perfect. Maybe a little updating is needed, but nothing that would deter me from staying here.

The location in Lourdas was amazing, almost right on the beach. The house was beautiful, and the studio had two balconies that were lovely, very private, and offered great views. I didn’t meet Angela in person, but her WhatsApp communication was friendly and accommodating. It was very quiet at night except for the waves, which made a nice sound. A few minutes’ walk brought me to nice tavernas, and you can avoid the hill if you want. If you’re after luxury or have high expectations, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. If you value a good location near a beach and a fairly cheap place for a few days, it’s fine. As other reviewers noted, the water was cool and didn’t get hot, just bearable for showering when it’s warm outside. The internet was patchy, cleaning was so-so, but that’s hard to avoid with furniture and interiors that clearly need renovation. The plug sockets looked yellowed and some seemed unsafe. No amenities were provided except one toilet roll and hand soap bars, which is standard for more affordable places on Greek islands in my experience. Some building and garden machine noise started around 8 am nearby, but it was quiet at night, so it wasn’t a huge bother if you’re up then. I was also puzzled by the notes on the wardrobe in a Nordic language that I couldn’t understand; after translation I learned it referred to a 50‑cent tourist tax, whereas it’s now EUR 1.50 per day—why keep that sign? A little TLC and attention would go a long way here, as this place has a lot of potential.

“Beautiful place to stay in, but be ready for uncleanliness, not fixed things.”

The spot is great—right by the beach with balconies that let you hear the waves. But the place was dirty and many things were neglected; the hot water only arrived after I complained, and the shower and closet seat were eventually repaired. Wi‑Fi didn’t work until the third day, again after I raised the issue. The kitchenette was almost bare and old. The contact number had no WhatsApp, so there was no easy way to complain or communicate. The garden looked like it was about to die, though the plants were well‑planted. When I called to complain, I was told I had a bad attitude for simply asking for hot water.
