“Berbat”
I booked room 204, but the only available option was a disability‑designed room, even though I’m not disabled. When I asked for a bathtub room, the front‑desk clerk was very friendly, smiled, and assured me, “We’ll arrange that for you.” That first impression felt positive, but when I entered the room I saw the same bathtub room I’d requested, with no change or explanation. I went back to the desk, asked why a promise couldn’t be kept, and the staff simply said it was a mistake and apologized. About 15 minutes later, a “fruit platter” arrived: it had one apple, one peach, one plum, and four spoiled strawberries, which only worsened my view of the hotel. Later that evening I went to the 11th‑floor restaurant for dinner. I ordered a ribeye, but the meat was so tough and rubbery that it couldn’t even be cut cleanly with a knife. The dining area was almost dark, with only small lamps on the walls and the chandeliers in the ceiling turned off, making it hard to see what was on the plates. Service was terrible: the waiter came to my table only once to take my order, and for the rest of the meal I had to wander the restaurant to find him. There were very few guests, so the lack of attention couldn’t be blamed on crowding.
