The Queen Room – Disability Access offers accessible features throughout the space. A large double bed accommodates two guests, and the private bathroom includes a bathtub or shower with free toiletries. Air‑conditioning, heating and a flat‑screen TV with cable channels provide climate control and entertainment. A seating area completes the room’s layout.
“PERFECT!”
The Blue Seal hotel delivered excellent service. The person in charge was very kind and polite, ensuring I felt comfortable and safe from arrival to departure. The room was spotless, and all amenities worked flawlessly. Honestly, my experience was very good, and I highly recommend it. It’s also super close—just a block from the beach and many restaurants. The location is perfect.
Just a 2‑minute walk to Downtown Pismo and a 5‑minute stroll to the Pier – overall a great stay.
Everything was bad.
“Terrible racist Staff, rooms unsanitized rooms and beds are worned out”
Close to the freeway. I had a cervical surgery and was driving back to Pismo Beach for a day. I had chosen a highly rated hotel based on its reviews, but that turned out not to be the case. The lobby staff, Mamba, confused me with her housekeeper because of my cervical brace and asked me for towels. She then said she thought I was her housekeeper because of my face, so I told her you’re saying I look like your housekeeper, she said no but your face is almost the same, wow! And she went on to ask why I was there! She didn’t apologize, so I asked to see the room to make sure the bed was comfortable. She asked my name and gave me a key to a king‑bed room. To my disappointment, the mattress was missing springs and was very uncomfortable. She suggested another room that was being cleaned; I got the key and that mattress had no covers, showing dark brown stains, hairs stuck to it, and tears on the side. The room smelled like vomit because the housekeeper hadn’t cleaned it—completely unsanitized and falling apart. The lobby staff could see my still open incision and said she understood but couldn’t refund me because she had the money. She told me if I paid them directly, she would give me the money and told me to call, which I did… and was told the hotel had to refund me, and they would email them to refund me the money. Then at night, the hotel manager Don told me to call to get my money because they didn’t have it. He was rude and said he hadn’t emailed anything and that he couldn’t help me. I ended up driving back to Los Angeles where I live instead of spending the night.
“It was ok”
The rooms and bathrooms are old, yet they stay clean; the parking lot gets very crowded.
