“Lindo Ryokan!! Ambiente acogedor y agradable!!!!”
From the moment we stepped in, we loved everything—cozy, clean, beautiful, and the staff were exceptionally attentive. We loved everything!
“Amazing Experience in a Ryokan”
Staying at Ishibekoji Muan was one of the best experiences in Japan. Their meticulous attention to detail makes you feel at home from the first moment. The room is amazing and very cozy, and the breakfast served in the room is super tasty. I highly recommend this unique experience.
“Zen haven in the centre old old town Kyoto”
The rooms were beautiful, very peaceful, and I had a great bathtub in my room. They are amazing, very traditional but with cute extras like a Dyson hairdryer, a Nespresso machine, and Aesop products. Breakfast was amazing and served in my room. I felt a million times better leaving than arriving, thanks to the team’s amazing service and care. I didn’t realize when I booked that there was no dinner restaurant—only breakfast—so I had to go out for dinner. The staff were very helpful in finding a good place to eat.
“A perfect spot to discover old Kyoto by foot and slow down after the big cities.”
Hidden in a quiet side street of a 100‑year‑old development with stone‑paved streets that echo history at every step, the rooms felt like a dream. Although it isn’t an Onsen Ryokan, we thoroughly enjoyed the huge bathtubs. The staff were incredibly attentive, even arranging a pre‑birthday cake for our eldest while we were there. The location is just a few steps from an amazing temple and a wide park, and you’re in Gion within minutes. I’m deeply grateful for the chance to stay and experience their hospitality.
“One night in Kyoto”
The Ryokan is beautiful and set in a very peaceful spot. The hinoki bathtub is very relaxing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing else to add.
