Camping with a lakeside cottage. The spot is stunning with a lake view. The cottage is spacious and fully equipped. Recommended for those who love tranquility amid nature. Bikes and boats are available free of charge. The bathroom is small. Sheets and towels are offered separately and at an extra cost (usual practice). The price is a bit high.

Beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The house is large, features a huge sauna, a clothes dryer, and all the comforts of home. The sunsets over the lake are breathtaking, and there’s a free boat, bikes, and more. The staff are super and unobtrusive.

The chalet is convenient, surrounded by forest and by a lake—very pleasant! The chalet’s equipment is a bit limited, especially in the kitchen. There’s no regulation of the services provided (bike, boat), and it’s not always easy to deal with people who show no respect for these services and the posted rules.

The natural setting, the space, the free boat and bike access are amazing, and the kids loved it a lot. The only thing that could be improved is the lack of medium‑sized bikes – there were big and small ones, but no midsize ones 😅.

From the sauna straight onto the lake, the house locations are already great, and the view over the lake is insane. The offerings let you explore the Finnish lake district wonderfully: row to Sulkava to grab a cinnamon roll from Alina, walk the easily reachable nature trails, or simply rent a boat with an outdoor border to explore the lake landscape. But you should keep your own rowboat on the channels; shallow spots appear right in the middle of the lake. The Kukkapää team is lovely, but the couch mattress could use a replacement – the slatted frame is already heavily worn.
