The location is fine, but the hotel is very noisy—you can hear conversations and other rooms clearly.

The lake views are amazing, it’s close to bars and restaurants, the shower is brilliant, the pool is fun, the room works well for a family, the location in Taupo is great, there are plenty of beds for the kids, and the staff are friendly, though the pool is cold.

The location is good, but the daily cleaning only made the bed and didn’t clean the bathroom; the shower flooded.

It’s a beautiful spot a few minutes from town, the host was hospitable and helpful and even upgraded us to a larger room so we could lock our kayak inside, the rooms are cozy, the spa is great, and the view is awesome.
