Location, comfort and excellent service. Everything was great.
The receptionist was very friendly the day we arrived, giving us a map and tips to explore and enjoy Barcelona to the fullest. The hostel’s facilities are excellent, the bed is super comfortable and the shower has great pressure. It’s in a great spot, and we’d definitely come back!
“Great the first time poor the second”
I loved the location and the initial concierge on my first stay, but the staff member who looked after the place on my return was unfriendly, unhelpful, and a little sour. She highlighted all the other shortcomings I had already decided to overlook from my earlier visit, such as the meanness of the soap and shampoo and the lack of any kind of glass to drink from. I didn’t particularly like the first room I stayed in because it was single and felt more like a cell. However, the lovely staff member made up for the shortcomings and made me feel welcome and safe. I took a double room on my return and it was okay, but the concierge—whose name I think is Sylvia—was very

Great central location, still on a quiet street. The staff were super friendly and the reception was open 24/7. Daily housekeeping was much appreciated. The rooms feel a bit old and the mattress is somewhat firm; sound insulation is poor and the curtains don’t block light well (sleeping with earplugs and a mask helped). The room is very basic but has everything you need for a stay.
