“Faded seaside charm”

Look it's a little faded and old-fashioned in its decor but it was warm and the kids liked it, and the pool was empty when we went down in the morning. Not super instagram friendly but who cares. We didn't have breakfast so can't rate that. Chef was off sick. Even with the (slow and old fashioned) lift, accessibility is going to be an issue (we had a buggy - wheelchair users would struggle on upper floors)

“Not good”

We were given an awful room with no air in it the windows were screwed shut which was changed the second day thankfully the hotel on a whole is looking shabby now we have been coming for few years The staff were not nice on reception when I handed the keys in not even a good bye a thank you or a look too busy talking to another staff member the bar is now not nice and far too many people smoking even in the balcony next too our second room The time has come unfourtunatly we will not be returning

One of the rooms in the main part of the hotel was perfectly adequate and I had a comfortable sleep. The other room on my booking was in a different part of the hotel, inside the foyer were full bins and overflowing rubbish bags for 2 days, there was mould, buckets, wet tea towels on more than one landing and my asthmatic friend had a very uncomfortable time with the spores, I have photos

“Good seaside break”

Breakfast was epic. Sea View from room. Staff very friendly and spa good for relaxation. Hotel is dated but good value for money

“Unfit to rent out”

The pools. Room was awful - ground in dirt on stained carpet, (couldn't walkbarefoot), dirty scratchy material broken sofa (had to sit on a towel), bathroom light switches too high for children to use., threadbare bedding with holes in duvet cover
