“La piscine ne justifie pas tout : nous ne reviendrons plus.”
The pool was a highlight. However, this was the fourth visit but the first since the expansion to a 12‑room hotel, attracting a different crowd (including amusement park guests) that was noisy. We had to pass through the “summer kitchen” to reach the pool; cleanliness was only average, with fishy smells and heavy water cleaning each time we crossed. The price jumped to 1365 €/week for a 35 m² cottage on the first floor, which feels unjustified: mismatched dishware (4 water glasses/2 wine glasses/1 champagne coupe/1 teaspoon), mediocre bathroom cleanliness, and at check‑in the receptionist remarked, “this is a big sum, do you think it will pass?”
The pool was great and the staff were friendly and helpful, but my wife rolled her ankle and ended up with three fractures, so we only managed to enjoy one day.

The location is gorgeous; the cottage is comfortable and fully equipped. The pool is lovely, and the restaurant next to it served tasty food. The only downside is its isolation— it’s a bit of a drive from the highway, but that was known beforehand and worth it. Nothing else; the remoteness was expected.
