Two front‑desk staff members, one of them very friendly, greeted me. The shopping mall is nearby, but that’s about all the perks. The room smelled like a mix of drain, smoke, and vomit, and the soundproofing was terrible; at night someone hammered on my door, screamed and sang loudly, and no security or anyone else stepped in. Breakfast was barely edible and the place was dirty.
