“I love this place”
The high ceiling, architecture, balcony, spacious room, porcelain sink and the helpful host who assisted me with my bag were all fantastic, yet I woke up to a neighbor's TV blaring at 3:30 am and couldn't sleep again.

I didn’t like anything at all, and the staff were rude.
The place has a unique old‑movie charm, but I’ve seen cleaner spots; the toilets are shared.

The hotel’s spot right by the port is perfect for getting around, but the building itself was a dump. I booked a double room with private bathroom for €50, supposedly including Wi‑Fi, air‑conditioning, a washing machine, bathroom, slippers, fridge, kettle and a bathtub with jets on the ground floor, yet none of that existed. After hauling my suitcases up two broken stairways in 37 °C, I ended up in a room with no AC or Wi‑Fi, just a fan, a French‑style bed, two nightstands, a small table with two chairs, and a shabby bathroom with a toilet, sink and a terrible shower. The listing on the site was full of false claims and no one seems to check them. I paid cash, so I can’t leave a rating there. Heads up: steer clear of this third‑world‑level place.
This hotel should not be operating; it’s unacceptable that a global site like Booking lists such places. It’s a total mess, not a hotel at all.
