“In need of proper facilities”

The spot was spot on, and the caravan itself was spotless, with a shower that felt incredible. Everyone we met was courteous and ready to help. On the downside, parking was a nightmare—no room for all our vehicles and barely any space to turn around. The site’s facilities were shabby, looking dirty and outdated; the arcade was shut because water flooded the roof, and the same happened in the reception. The mini‑golf course was in bad shape, with broken pieces and missing bricks along the edges. It’s a shame, because a bit of investment could turn this into a great family destination. We stayed in a silver‑tier caravan that was clean, but the furniture, carpets, and sofa were heavily worn and dirty.

The location is truly amazing and worth a visit. The caravan was comfortable, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. The only issue was the carpet in the sofa area—it had a strong, unpleasant odor. It would be better to replace that carpet with something else.

The caravans offer good value for money. However, the food and drinks were very expensive considering the location and surrounding area.

The location was great. Unfortunately, the arcade was unusable; almost all the machines were out of service.

“Needs alot of work”

The drive home was the only positive part. The caravan was extremely small, and we could hear the neighbours’ TV over ours. The clubhouse was loud, and there was no separate dining area—everything was in the main noisy venue. The sofas in the caravan were extremely uncomfortable. The staff all seemed under 21 and clearly inexperienced in hospitality. There was nothing to do; the mini‑golf course was a mess and looked unmaintained. The pool was basic. Basic facilities were missing in the caravan: no night light in the child’s room, noisy pipework in the ensuite bathroom, and the other toilet in the main bathroom didn’t flush properly. The radiators were rusty. There were no plastic dishes for children, so giving them drinks from glasses was unsafe. The internet you had to pay for in the caravan was poor at best, with constant buffering that made streaming impossible. The final straw was when a flea jumped on my foot while I was getting changed—after already spending two nights there, I was disgusted and left the next night, not wanting to stay in a caravan with fleas.
