Nice location and great views. The property was dirty, especially the living room and kitchen. Dead insects were stuck to the ceilings and walls, spider webs covered all the light fixtures, and the mess under the two sofas was unacceptable. The carpet was disgusting, especially with a toddler constantly playing on the floor. Bird poo was on the decking and furniture when I arrived.

We enjoyed a lovely stay overall and the kids had a great time, which mattered most to us; the property is well kept and the owners clearly thought of small essentials like salt and sugar. As first‑time caravan guests, we were surprised by how compact the units are, but that was more our expectation than a flaw. During our visit, we faced several problems: no internet and a broken DVD player, so we had to call the owners multiple times. They were quick to fix the DVD player, allowing a movie night, yet we’d have preferred to avoid repeated issues during a relaxing break. The owners were helpful throughout, and the kids still had a fantastic time. Thank you for that. Our biggest frustration was the lack of internet: we arrived to no connection, which mattered because one of us needed to work. The next day we managed with a patchy 4G signal for a few work and Teams calls, but it was unreliable. Joyce responded promptly, explained that the previous guests had used the monthly data allotment, and topped it up for us, which we appreciated, yet it still wasn’t enough for remote work. In the end we had to accept that most of the holiday was without internet, as 4G/5G was very spotty. We were careful with the extra data, avoided streaming and Netflix, but it was disappointing that connectivity remained a major issue throughout. There were also a few minor annoyances, like a heavily scaled kettle that could use descaling. Individually these wouldn’t ruin the stay, but combined with the internet problems they pulled the experience down from otherwise pleasant.

Excellent location, stunning views, the property was clean and very cosy, everything you need was there. There was nothing to dislike about the property.
The view was stunning and the spot is great for summer vibes, plus the room was comfy enough to sleep in. The downside was that it gets too hot in summer and there’s not enough fan. The dining table had a bit of grime, the kettle still needs a deep lime‑scale clean, and there were no basic seasonings like salt or sugar.
