The place was clean, but the window wouldn’t close securely because two screws were drilled into the bottom of the frame. Traveling alone, safety is a priority for me.

The hotel sits right in the middle of town, the room was cozy and warm, and the host was friendly and welcoming. Parking was just outside the room, and the pub for dinner was only a short walk away, making for an easy, comfortable stay.

The room was spacious and spotless, and we enjoyed the breakfast pack. An EV charging station and a Chinese restaurant are across the road, though the busy road with trucks didn’t disturb our sleep. We went to Warrumbungle National Park that night to see the dark sky—stargazing was amazing! The only downside was the National Park itself.
