Even though I had explicitly chosen a king‑size double bed during booking, they pushed for two separate beds; after a lengthy back‑and‑forth they finally handed me the requested bed in the late afternoon. The rates were steep, and the hotel only offered two free coffee capsules—when I asked for two more, they added €8 and wanted me to sign before handing them over.

Situated in the Salamanca district, it’s a lovely spot. The hotel itself is outstanding.

I adored the location, the garden restaurant, and the front desk staff; the rooms and bathrooms were clean, roomy, and the beds were excellent.
