Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ashland by IHG

The hotel is close to my brother’s home. The floor was dirty and the TV mount was loose.

“Great place that makes you happy to come "home" to your hotel room.”

The staff really stood out and made this place exceptional; we’ll keep recommending it. The pool and elevator were under maintenance, but the front‑desk team and the breakfast staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, so we chose to stay instead of switching to a cheaper place with a pool. Breakfast was great, and the cinnamon rolls were fabulous. The maintenance on the pool and elevator was a negative, but the outstanding staff experience more than compensated, making us prefer this property over others with a working pool.

“Would not stay there again.”

It took 15 minutes to check in. The desk clerk needs more training. The room floors were dirty, and I’m not sure the bed had clean sheets. The TV didn’t work and nobody was there to fix it. There were no extra toiletries and no coffee in the room. I would not stay there again.

“Visiting the Folks”

The room was spacious and well‑appointed, with comfortable, accessible furniture and plenty of lighting options. There was plenty of storage for clothes and accessories, and the TV mount pivoted for a better viewing angle. I liked the pod coffee maker; the kitchenette was just the right size. The parking lot was well lit at night. The A/C leaked throughout my stay, the pool was closed, and I had to go to the main floor for an in‑service ice machine. The elevator stalled, jerked, and had some stuck buttons.

“Muy buen servicio”

The cleaning was very thorough, and the sheets had a clean scent. The bed was damaged.
