Nothing. If the property had been advertised “as a cheap motel if nothing else was available and you are happy to pay way over the odds, and regret it forever” then I would have been OK. But it wasn’t. The earplugs on the bedside cabinets were hilarious, but handy.

Everything was good, and even the downsides were good.

The breakfast was excellent and the service was outstanding; the only downside was that they only accepted card payments.
