The location is fine, though the road is busy with roadworks and temporary lights; I still managed to park directly opposite the property. Access is easy with a door code. The Grey Room with en-suite is compact but totally adequate for my needs. A little kitchenette along the corridor with a microwave and kettle is very handy, and the chair and bed are comfortable. It's an old building with a very steep staircase, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues; there are rails and a couple of handles on the wall. The bathroom fan sounded quite noisy when I arrived mid‑evening, but it wasn't as loud in the morning.

The spot was handy and the room didn’t cost too much. When I got in, the sheets were covered in crumbs and stains, but they swapped them out later. The old windows let in a lot of street noise and yelling all night. At 3 a.m. the smoke detector went off every minute, and no one answered the emergency line, so I had to take it off its stand to finally get some sleep around 4 a.m.
Nice location, easy check‑in, the bed is comfortable, and the room looks nice. The smell of oldness lingers even in the room.
