The location was exactly where I needed to be, but the coffee maker in the room didn’t work and there was only one tiny trash can.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and updated in style, and the continental breakfast was good. The staff delivered outstanding customer service, and I appreciated the Dove brand soaps, shampoo, and disposable makeup wipes in the bathrooms. On the downside, there were almost no places to plug in USB or USB‑C devices—other hotels put outlets in lamp bases, which would have been very helpful. The on‑site restaurant’s room‑service refused to discount an appetizer because they were out of the brisket that was supposed to be the star of the dish, and they also messed up my drink order.

I was thrilled to find a Gideon Bible in the drawer, the air conditioner worked great, and the bed was very comfortable. The only negatives were that someone had to come up to turn on the TV, and there was no guide, so I had to keep flipping through channels to see what was next.

The shower was clean and roomy, putting this place a step above most budget hotels.
