The spot, drinks, pool entertainment were good, yet the food variety was too limited, vegan options were almost nonexistent, and the snack bar hours were restrictive.
The cocktails were lovely, the room was spacious with plenty of storage, we enjoyed a wonderful balcony view, and the gym was well equipped; coffee was also delicious and the bed very comfortable. However, we had to wait 25 minutes to check in and everything moved slowly. We were then told that basic items would cost extra, such as an €18 charge for the room safe, fees for more than one set of pool towels, and charges for cakes and snacks at the coffee bar. The room arrived without towels (only two hand towels), so we had to find some elsewhere. The air conditioner leaked a puddle that caused my partner to slip and injure his back; they fixed it but the damage was already done. The mini fridge was broken, its water tray fell out, and water wasn’t refilled during housekeeping. My bedside socket didn’t work, so we had to bring an extension cord. The duvet cover was just a large sheet with a duvet inside another sheet, not buttoned or tied, which was odd. Food was the main reason we chose an all‑inclusive place, but it was mediocre, with a canteen vibe, basic selections, and not much Spanish cuisine. Service at the restaurant was slow and difficult, especially when ordering a refill. A cockroach was seen on the gym floor and another at the coffee bar; the staff shrugged it off. Wi‑Fi was spotty, so we relied on our O2 roaming. On day one, all sunbeds were reserved early, but we snagged the last two at about 2 pm when winds were gale force and it wasn’t as busy as when we arrived. On day two, I had to go down to reserve beds, which I had never had to do before.
“Decepcionante”
The only thing the hotel offers is a paradise beach that isn’t actually theirs—thank God, otherwise who knows how they’d handle it. The hotel itself was very disappointing, the staff were uneducated and everything was very shabby.
“Très bon séjour, pour la 2ème fois dans cet hôtel.”
A very good hotel with friendly staff, decent meals, and a location right next to the ocean.
“Buono ma più che altro non per le prestazioni ma per i primi giorni di calima”
Breakfast was excellent. The location is great for the beach, but the shops—including the pharmacy—are a bit out of reach; if you’re alone and not feeling well you’ll need a taxi. The beach access is problematic: many stairs and an elevator that only goes to one level, not the beach floor; especially when returning, it’s exhausting! Another serious issue for me is the lack of a PC corner available to all guests (not just Privilege) even for a fee, because everyone can run into a problem that can’t be solved on an iPhone and you might not have a tablet or something else on vacation.
