I’ve been visiting this area for years, but this was my first time staying at this property. The spot’s location is spot‑on, letting me walk to Pannikin Cafe, Juanita’s, and many other spots. The pool was a nice touch, yet we skipped it because the parking lot was being resurfaced on a Sunday and the whole place stank, so we left. The booking description promised a “view,” but room 112 sat tucked in a corner downstairs, giving easy access to the lot but no view at all. Breakfast was included, yet the pastries were stale and the coffee was mediocre; the yogurt and cereal were decent, good for a quick bite on the run. The staff were genuinely friendly. The resurfacing on a Sunday really spoiled the reason I booked this pricey motel, and I don’t think it’s worth paying extra for breakfast when there are so many great options nearby.

The property sits within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and a short drive to the farmers market. The location was fantastic, with cute neighborhoods nearby to wander. The rooms were clean, updated, and comfortable. The staff were all kind and helpful, especially the cleaning crew. Nothing to complain about—I can’t wait to return!
