The hotel sits right next to the medina and is a short walk from both the bus and the louage station; breakfast is pretty basic but the carbs will keep you going until the afternoon. My room was roomy with a huge single bed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mohamed, who went the extra mile to help me find a suitable tour operator for my trip to Tataouine and Ksar Ghilane.

The hotel’s location, nice surroundings, cleanliness, and very available, attentive, and pleasant staff made for a great stay, and the breakfast was decent. I would recommend it without hesitation. The only downside was the lack of fruit and fruit juices at breakfast.

I had a terrible stay at this hotel—no water, no electricity, and the air conditioner was broken. I couldn’t even file a complaint at reception because they wouldn’t accept it. I paid for a comfortable room and got a problem room instead.
