The church is truly beautiful and in a fantastic location, offering everything you need for a wonderful stay. It did get a bit warm during the day, the fans move very slowly, and the portable fan is noisy and needs updating.

I had a wonderful time at The Church; it was comfortable, fully equipped, and in a great spot for traveling and exploring the Tablelands. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The spot’s great – just a short walk to the town and the bed was a dream with loads of pillows and blankets. The fridge stocked eggs, butter, milk and even wine, which was a nice touch. But we hit a wet afternoon and the fireplace was a nightmare: the wood was outside, the firelighters were barely enough, and there was no kindling or tongs. The flue seemed busted, and the bathroom still had mould on the curtains, no latch, and a sink plug that fits better in the tub.

The main room and bathroom were roomy and the town itself is pretty. Unfortunately the kitchen is a letdown – no BBQ, just a single plug‑in stove, and the microwave lives in a shed with the washer, no dryer. The windows face the highway, so it gets noisy if you open them. The description online was a bit misleading, so if you’re hoping for a full kitchen you’ll be disappointed.
